Veterinary Surgeon - RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology and Emergency & Critical Care

Chris originates from Essex, trained in Bristol and lives in Glasgow. He achieved the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in 2008, and Emergency & Critical Care in 2013. He was awarded a Masters of Research Degree in 2010 from the University of Glasgow. He is the only vet to be recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an Advanced Practitioner in both Cardiology and Emergency and Critical Care! Chris is available to provide expert investigation and management of pets suffering from heart disease, as well as offering advanced levels of care to critically ill patients when needed. He also has considerable experience with abdominal ultrasonography and spends a great deal of his time performing this.

Surgeon On Site

Surgeon on Site was founded in 2015 by Richard Coe (RCVS & European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery) to perform advanced surgical procedures in general practice! This has several benefits:

• Convenience for clients – no need to travel long distances to a referral practice
• Continuity for our patients – enabling our vets and nurses to see all stages of treatment
• Short waiting times – waiting list is typically a maximum of 2-3 weeks

Examples of surgeries performed include TPLO (cruciate surgery), medial patella luxation surgery and fracture repair!
