Payment is always due in full at the time of treatment. Any queries relating to the cost of treatment should be discussed with the vet during the consultation.
Wherever possible the vet will provide you with an estimate of costs for your pet’s planned course of treatment. Please bear in mind that this is an estimate and not a quotation. The final cost of your pet’s treatment may be higher or lower depending on the complexity of your pet’s condition. Wherever possible the vet will contact you to update you with any significant increases in the estimated cost before proceeding with any additional treatment. This may not always be possible in emergency situations.
We may suspend the provision of any further goods and/or services until you have paid any outstanding amounts in full. Where we consider it appropriate to do so we may require a payment or deposit on the account before goods and/or services are provided.
If you do not pay the balance on your account when it is due, we shall take such action as we consider appropriate to recover our fees which may include engaging a third-party debt recovery service. Any costs levied by the debt recovery service will be added onto the outstanding balance owed by you. Please note that the use of a debt recovery service could affect your future credit rating.
